Projections on where AAPL and GOOG fall to? They will go into earnings at 280 bucks per share, and even good earnings don't justify that valuation. AAPL falls worse to 225. GOOG falls to 235. Your guesses?

I remember when AAPL was releasing brand new iPhones that people would camp out for days to buy. When the release was a major cultural event, and there was fresh new tech people really wanted in each model, and lots of people upgraded each year. We considered a PE of 15-20 expensive for that stock. Now it's over 40 and considered a steady, safe, value stock. It's hard to describe how much more expensive stocks have become.

If ber stopped crying about how much of a "bubble" we are in they could have bought some of the most durable and powerful companies in history for dirt cheap. Gains in just a few months: AAPL $169 ---> $267 +60% GOOGL $143 ---> $268 +88% AXP $227 ---> $361 +59% No options, just shares.

I'm kind of happy watching my AAPL calls accrue right now...
