Same - if you actually look at the Nasdaq pump, it's mostly just the NVDA rally. I bet you it's just a NVDA short squeeze/relief pump before dumping further. The fact that GOOG and AMZN continued the dump meant that there's no renewed sentiment for American tech going forward.

I’m staying away from AMZN and google. I think they continue to slide into the next week. There are serious valuation concerns with Amazon - The stock has grown far slowly compared to other tech stocks over the past 5 years and also has lost value over the past year. I think it slides more. I think google will drop below $300. The fact that it didn’t bounce today with rest of the market tells me there’s still some ways before it rebounds. It has had a great run up until now.

For my personal trading, 200k in one stock is significant. That's what I had in Amzn. Taking the net from the sale and putting into a damn money market fund at 3.5% is better than leaving it to rot in Amzn for a year plus. I don't take shots on what I consider to be high beta stocks.

Damn, that sucks. I don't know why MSFT didn't follow the herd! I can understand AMZN because of earnings but c'mon.

If someone has a lot of money in a stock in shares, it is better to take the loss and put it to work on a stock that has more promise to gain more quickly. Amzn is not going to be going up for at least a year. Yes, one can tinker around swing trading for pennies. I'm talking about investing large amounts for potential large gains. I got out of Msft and Meta at small losses. Had I not done that, I would have been crushed by now.

AMZN is the only one that its own customers don't hate, so go for that one in the long term.
