amzn finally dipped like I wanted but now I don’t have any money

Every earnings season, out of the 5 big tech (AMZN, META, GOOGL, AAPL, MSFT) they pump 2, dump 2, and 1 is a wild card. So you just gotta guess which will be which. My prediction is META and AMZN both pump, GOOGL and AAPL both tank, and MSFT wildcard (and I am going to guess it tanks and then rises to flat).

I think I'm gonna sell puts on AMZN.

Doing nothing but accumulating AMZN until earnings next month. With both their contract with Open AI that saw immediate use of AWS and the Anthropic (Project Rainier) data center in full operations during Q4, it wouldn't surprise me if AWS growth comes in at 25%. Likewise, I think Ad revenue and retail sails revenue are going to shock wall street as well, with how hugely successful Prime Video Sports has been and how resilient consumer spend has been. While it's true that AMZN has been a laggard the past 5 years, it's important to note that it was trading at a P/E of 75 five years ago, and I think it's finally time for it to take off as it's valuation has normalized but the fundamentals have begun ramping again.

Too much competition from goog and amzn, plus China now is doing AI without them. NVDA growth is not certain

Buying AMZN here a month before earnings seems like the play. The stock historically rallies in the weeks coming up to earnings and 8/10 last Q4 earnings have seen a ~+10% increase in share price. Jassy has a history of sandbagging guidance but even he stated AWS is expected to grow 20%+ Q4, and with the data centers specifically for Anthropic, and contract with Open AI which saw immediate use of AWS, it's likely going to be a blowout quarter. Not to mention prime video seeing record numbers due to sports and better than expected retail sales / resilience.
