Yeah, Llama isn't widely used yet, but the idea of build the capacity then implement it is nothing new. AMZN did that with AWS. If META WASN'T spending that money, they'd get slammed for falling behind in the AI arms race and would equally get punished. There's so much shit AI can do for a social media company in providing suggestions to keep users online longer. Like tiktok does with their incredibly powerful algorithm.
