Friday was ginormous for the speculative Reddit famous stocks: IREN, NBIS, ASTS, and RKLB. All went up insanely. RKLB now at its ATH. What’s the call for this week for calls or puts on these? On one hand, I feel like short term puts because there has to be a slight pullback given these all just skyrocketed 20% in one single day. On the other hand, unsure if this is the beginning of the Christmas rally. 😭

I Sold 15 $31 Covered calls on my 1,500 $ASTS shares back in June. they were rolled from $29 covered calls I had sold the month prior. $ASTS had been going back down to the low $20s every time, so I thought I'd be safe selling covered calls. oh boy was I wrong 💀 I had 3-4 opportunities to buy back these calls for a small loss, but I had lost all the gains from the premium on UNH calls, so I didn't have the funds to close the position. Honestly, this wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't lost the premium on those dang UNH calls. But hey, profit is profit. I'm definitely going to re-enter if it dips again. I shouldn't calculate this, but I did; if I had not sold these covered calls, I would be up an additional 60-91k depending on when I sold my shares 😭😭😭 Good luck in the casino next year 🫡 TLDR: 1)Bought 1,500 $ASTS shares at $23.50. 2)Sold $31 covered calls in June for $8 ($12k) in premium 3)Lost most of the money from the premium on $UNH calls 🤡 4)Couldn't close the position due to lack of funds
