The funny thing about the AVGO hype the past year or so is that everyone in the industry (that i know) hates them. I work cybersecurity for one of the biggest banks in the country and we have spent tens of millions over the past 3 years purging ourselves of their shit. Some friends who work at another massive bank said theyve been doing the ssme thing. Most of their products suck and their support is definitvely the worst in the industry. They cant even hire decent sales engineers to get them contracts. Theyre retards. The hype is a joke.

With ORCL and AVGO dumping out of the blue this week, I think market makers will keep MU flat post earnings to prevent weekly calls/puts from printing too much. A rally is unexpected in the short term and people will keep harvesting their gains at the end of tax year. A further dump would be surprising so everything should be priced in by Wed. But i'm not buying a straddle - I'm on a gambling detox this month.

Guys I need your advice. I bought 45 CFD contracts worth 1M exposure on Nasdaq future at 25800 after the AVGO earnings hoping to see a new ath on Q. I could not sell them with stop loss due to a gap down. Yesterday I held them through the whole day which made me a loss of 20k Euros. My net worth now went down from 105k to 85K Euros. Would you guys take the loss tomorrow at the Futures opening or try to hold them through Monday in hope for them to recover with a rebound? I stopped trading on equities that I had wash sale on end of Nov. In December, whatever left of my account, I bought GRNY and today just a call option ( 3 month expiry) on AVGO. I did not trade these two in 2025 before December. So I assume I am good for wash sale?

This AVGO dip is hardly a dip if you look at how it was bid up the past couple of months on concepts of a prospective promise of a possible "change of paradigm." AVGO is still overpriced.
