Couple years ago I was bitten by a brown recluse or some shit in my sleep right on my ankle. Was a pretty nasty recovery process (couldn’t really walk since they ankle infected into some sort of bubble bc of the venom and my shoe would brush against it while trying to walk). Kind of depends on what ticker entries I’m looking for but some things I generally look for (mostly tied) to my risk tolerance and experience: high VIX days, roughly around 30DTE (unless I’m waiting on a catalyst) cause it usually gives me enough premium and decays fast enough for me to sleep well, and I generally try not to go short puts around earnings bc of volatility and uncertainty (I know you said you’re looking at ETFs but I just thought I’d throw that out there). Take this with a grain of salt though lol, my risk appetite may be very different than yours
