Reminder that US defaulted December 10. Leveraged basis trade was becoming unstable and no longer able to finance US deficits. Unable to absorb flood of new T bill issuance, repo markets showed stress again and began to flare up. This is why Fed is printing again and since the chance of deficits materially shrinking is miniscule they will keep having to print. TL;DR - cash and bonds are trash but everything else will moon. SPX 7500 next year minimum easily.

I had an ambulance called for my seizure back in August. My parents received the bill in September for $900 cuz insurance didn’t cover it. Now I finally have a bill delivered to my actual address and I just threw it away. My credit score is 790, but I heard not paying a medical bill doesn’t affect it. Would you pay the $900?

Ironically, by making chips that don't need external RAM, Jensen keeps his 75% margins high while potentially commoditizing the memory industry. He’s bypassing the bottleneck Micron and Samsung have been feasting on. This is why Groq racks are so expensive. You're replacing cheap, dense memory with expensive, high-speed silicon. Jensen is trading lower Bill of Materials (BOM) for higher Performance/Watt. It keeps Nvidia's margins high but leaves the memory suppliers out in the cold.

They don't have the stock. The paper value of Silver should reflect 80+. Banks will be forced to buy physical silver but every single miner is overbooked. There is a physical shortage of silver. And the demand has grown exponentially. The latest US signed bill requires massive infra spending. This requires silver and copper.

3 weeks ago I footed the bill for a family get together at a restaurant, which cost me $1,300. Today my aunt who attended the family get together handed me a $5 bill and said Merry Christmas. wtf is that all about rants about how it's important that she gives all nieces/nephews a gift, yet hands a $5 bill when others all get $100 better to give no money than the disrespect of a $5 bill uncle gave nothing which was no problem

Now I'm super depressed that I'm 25 years old and down to the last 13k to my name (you can see my loss porn post and the fact that I nearly touched 6 figures last week before a glorious wipeout). Yes I have a lot more in long term investments, but don't really count those as in my name since the rules on those accounts are a lot more iffy and kind of have to jump through some hoops to withdraw plus will likely incur a massive tax bill if I do so and my parents' names are on the account as a custodian, so it makes it a lot more difficult. I guess my tech job still exists and pays decent as well, but HCOL city so everything goes quickly. Really can't do much with 13k in this world and I really would've hoped to have much more at this point and will acknowledge that my stupid decisions have played a role in this and probably a burgeoning gambling addiction that I will do everything possible to ensure doesn't become a problem (at least l've stayed true to my commitment that I will not deposit anything else into my gambling account and everything else goes to long term so the 13k I have is the max I have to gamble), but the one thing that gives me hope is that it's enough to make a glorious comeback and I feel my career is only just really about to take off and can feel it coming. Nevertheless one day l'll be able to make that gains post or YOLO with a real amount of money and have my glory day on this sub and it will feel really good and the motivation keeps me going. Yes I know I’m rambling but isn’t coping with our losses a huge part of this sub?

How y'all feeling about puts on sportsbooks? The big beautiful bill tax reform is going to decimate their customer base. You can only write off 90% of losses starting next year. Being that only 3% of their customers are profitable, that leaves a lot of people that are going to be having phantom earnings or walking away from sports betting. Meaning if you break even on the year you will still owe taxes on 10% of your winnings despite losing an equal amount. Part of me wants to go in on those puts. Part of me feels like most people are too stupid to walk away because they don't understand the tax implications.

GOP has already laid out their plans in the bill that just passed the house (but is preemptively dead in the Senate). The cost reductions they're looking for are through association health plans and other avenues of increasing the availability of what is basically, shitty useless insurance. The ACA actually defined what must be included in a health insurance plan. Before 08 there were tons of "health insurance" plans that didn't cover shit. Sure they were cheap, but they didn't cover anything, had caps, etc etc. Think like the way current scam dental insurance plans are paid. And that's what the insurance companies will tell him - "We CAN'T lower premiums on current offerings because of all this burdensome regulation" And they will eat it up and press to allow them to sell these worthless plans just so people can technically have coverage even though it isn't worth shit. *If they actually accomplish this, it will be a huge financial boon to heath insurance issuing companies. Being able to sell shitty insurance is a very high margin business model and they will be very very good at it* The giving money to people is also mostly a dead end. They want to take that "extended subsidy" money and give it to people in HSA's. Last estimates I saw were like $700-1100 per year, per person. Not bad, but not really worth shit when you have a bronze plan with a $6000 deductible. That cuck from Louisiana got up and made that speech about allowing people to make decisions, negotiate prices, etc.. what a load of garbage. Having $1000 in an HSA is nice, but it's not going to mean shit when you have a heart attack, or get cancer, or need some other $40,000 treatment.

He doesn´t want anybody to remember that a Dem was the last to balance the budget and that he was to pervert even for Epstein. Not judging of course. As long as he didn´t actually abuse miners (yes, intended) I don´t really care.
