ATM offerings are not the issue, taking on debt to buy BTC is. It’s a shit business model but they need to spam the ATM to take advantage of the premium the stock holds. If they don’t use the ATM while their premium is high, then shorts will just short it till there is no mNav. As someone who hates what MSTR is doing but bullish on BTC, what they have done today creating a cash reserve gives me great comfort because it significantly decreases the chance of a MSTR death spiral which will be brutal on BTC.
