BYND TLDR: They aren't making burgers to transition people, they're pivoting to the product vegetarians asked for. Ber case: - Poor financials - pretty valid considering where they've been over the past years and the big dilution. I can't read though so I'm not worried about this one. But they aren't teslurr - Bad product - everyone here is shitting on their 'meat'. I've had a beyond whopper and it was Meh. I'm not a vegan so it wasn't a first choice when the price is comparable. Bool case: - They're not pretending to be 'meat' anymore, just 'ground'. This stops most of the 'its not a good burger' talk from carnivores, and the 'I don't cook meals with meat anyways' vegan crowd. Since most of your boyfriends cook for you, ask them how much more versatile this product is in meals. It opens up massive recipe options for the granola crowd! This would help carnivores who are transitioning not have to throw out all their recipes. New recipe is also signifiacntly better from a health/ingredient perspective. - Beef prices - Herd sizes are very small right now and will probably not be getting cheaper and time soon. Maybe we can import enough anarcho libertarian beef to stay competative, maybe we don't. If the price starts to really spread between the two, bynd could come out on top. (There are other countries out there too...) - Stonks only go up - shits frothy out here yo, nuff said. Most of the haters are complaining about 'burgers' which they are actively pivoting from. Did I miss anything?
