I might get shadowbanned for saying this. Blackrock and Vanguard have chosen a couple companies as the industry leaders of QC. Do these companies have revenue or product? No. Does it have hype? Yes. While not as huge as crypto or AI stocks, QC is much more manageable hypewise for hedge funds. Blackrock and Vanguard have a combined 15% in both Rigetti and QBTS and their %out has barely changed since March. They’re holding the bags for when these companies get to 12 figure market caps.
