On robinhood, when you get assigned on CSPs or when you sell ccs to lower your cost basis, does it change your average cost like other brokers?

the funny thing is everything i own is way up except for the stuff i want to sell CCs on and get out of it.

The breakeven on those CCs I sold was about 680 on SPY and I'm honestly shocked we got there this fast lol

With a jacked up IV, you’d be lucky to make anything. Best to sell CCS and bank on both theta decay and high premium.

When you do CCs either the stock shoots past your strike price, or falls more than the premium you collect. There's no winning.

Why does the market hate me? I sold PATH yesterday expiring Dec for about 300% gains. PATH was up almost 20% today. I could have had a 10 bagger. This always happens to me. No matter what direction. Whether I sell CCs, buy calls, sell puts, everything seems to go the wrong way. Fuck this shit.

If I swapped my ccs for calls and my calls for ccs I would be a very rich man

You could do a double long type strategy by selling CCs on your stock and buying longer dated calls to catch any big unforeseen upside

Such CCs are basically high yield account. You got to keep, I guess, 25% p.a. return as the premium 

You write CCs bc premiums are high. And premiums are high bc people know it’s gonna go up. Start opening your ears dude. Whenever you write a really juicy CC, back it up with some more share or leaps. Thank me now, pay me later
