I thought of the phrase Physical Corn as opposed to Digital Corn about a month ago and it made me laugh a lot and then I started wondering how you could theoretically profit *from trading* by buying Physical Corn. Like you can’t just buy corn low and sell it high, that makes you a corn salesman. But you *could* make an ETF, and sell people shares backed by your physical corn. Theoretically that should be possible. I’ve also done a ton of DD on physical corn for the sake of this joke

The long term thesis is twofold: 1.) Physical Corn is the ultimate hedge. If the Iran shit really goes south and the entire economy crumbles to ash, *you still have your Physical Corn*, which has retained its inherent value as food. 2.) Physical Corn is cyclical

Alright so here’s the plan guys, I’ve been saying it for about a month now: We buy Physical Corn (Corn, the crop), dehydrate it, and store it. Buying paper corn, like CORN, is bullshit.We accumulate a vast quantity of dehydrated Physical Corn, let’s say $3m worth. We then create an ETF backed 1:1 by the value of our physical corn holdings. Let some other asshole buy *our* paper corn, which we printed out of our **Physical Corn**. We continue to buy, dehydrate, and store, Physical Corn. In the short term, Physical Corn prices are likely to spike by the mid-summer as harvest numbers can be extrapolated more accurately. With the massive increase in fertilizer costs prior to the spring planting season, crops this year will have higher costs baked in. If the Iran crisis persists, this issue will only worsen. oil has an upper limit price. The reason is very simple: at 200$ even here in austria we again start our pumps. Oil is nothing rare actually, at these prices you can also just use Corn to make fuel very effectively. 200$ ... i dont see it.

omg why wont corn just die. Every day for years the chart is still that on the back of my mind or screen like "Are you sure you dont want to get back on this shitty ride?
