I make around 175k. One of the coolest things I realized is every extra 5k I put away even if it’s just in treasuries every month earns me about $20 a month in interest plus whatever compounds from that. So that means it pays for about a streaming service subscription for a year. If I invest in index fund it pays for 2 streaming services annually and compounds. Kinda neat to think about but also pointless 🥹

BUT, the average car in the US is older than ever, so their aftermarket parts biz is printing. * **The Play:** Earnings tomorrow. Analysts keep raising EPS estimates. It has a low P/E/G of 0.53, which is regardedly cheap. * **The Kicker:** Short Interest is only \~7.6%, *but* **Days to Cover is over 9**. If they beat tomorrow and this thing pops, it's gonna take the shorts two full trading weeks to find their shares. Could get spicy. **$OPCH (Option Care Health) - Earnings 10/30 (Thursday)** * **What they do:** Home healthcare. They stick needles in people at their house. Boomer-friendly business. * **The Play:** This thing has been beaten down and is technically "oversold" (RSI at 21). Morgan Stanley just gave it an "Overweight" rating with a $35 target (it's at \~$28). * **The Kicker:** Options chain is showing way more call volume than put volume. Someone is betting on a beat. Has a history of beating EPS estimates for the last 4 quarters straight.

I'm regarded, so it doesn't matter lol. Being said --- it's actually not that bad of a bet. The guys I recently got connections to (no meme) want me to setup a hedge fund. They're already on the boards of funds that have > $1b AUM. No meme. I just operate independently because I don't like the headache / overhead. I started a prop firm (ie: only my own money) and got connections that way. I can (and do) run solo / with my own money. I keep telling people no. I don't want your money. Sounds like a legal headache. I do this for fun. That just makes people want me more & gives me leverage. Kinda funny tbh.

Just put it in an index fund in fidelity or E*Trade and chill. If you feel the need to yolo options on earnings because you feel like your one trade away from becoming a millionaire the be prepared to lose all of it. Just remember for every post on here with a 1000% gain there are 100 people that lost significant money trying to do the same. Throw a few thousand into Robinhood and try to double it or something but no need to fuck your future up over fomo and inexperience
