Been waiting on a bounce from HOOD for a long time, deluding myself that the crypto crash wouldn’t have massive impact on the stock. Crypto by and large is cooked. It really is a stupid/useless concept and what’s worse in Wallstreet terms is it’s dated and stale. Bad. CORN is going nowhere while actual valuable things like gold and silver pump. This will continue. Own nothing (worthless internet money) and be happy. This all is to say one thing I’ve learned is to recognize when the fun is over and to get the fuck out. HOOD had huge gains up to $150 and the signs were there to jump ship. I ignored them. Now I’m holding what is arguably a still overvalued stock at $106. On to the next.

Crucially, their recent reorganization (moving to a standard C-Corp) has made this the “grown-up” energy hold for my IRA, removing the complexity discount that kept big funds away. **1. The "Why Now": Corporate Clean-Up** On Jan 7, 2026, PR completed a major reorganization. Management and long-term holders exchanged their complicated Class C shares for standard Class A public shares. * **The Signal:** Management is now in the same boat as public shareholders ("eating their own cooking"). * **The Catalyst:** This removes the "governance discount."
