Yes i agree its not a ‘breakthrough’ just another BERT-like approach for prediction. However the world models approach could fuel the next ‘wave’ of AI. Imo chatgpt-like stuff main usecase has been cognitive offloading on non-standard tasks. The next wave will be physical offloading of non standard tasks (AI empowered robotics).
