Bear market vibes Feels like we're due for a leg down until mid-terms, IMO. With all the political tension and lack of rate cuts, with mid-terms, the big boys aren't going to come in with volume. You have rare earth metal prices going up that's driving hits to profit margins, inflation elevated, layoffs, no rate cuts, potential WWIII, midterms...> If you're a serious investor you're going to be playing it very safe with some beaten down DOW names imo. I know those defensive stocks aren't the most sexy, but those high dividend plays could be the rotation coming. Look t PFE. It's divy is huge and it's slowly inching it's way up. LMT...OXY.....

Rough day but finished not too bad. GLD and SLV recovered pretty well but I still took a good hit today. Still up from metals bigly since October. Grabbed some more calls on drones. These double digit down days are great opportunities IMO. Let’s hope for better days ahead or at least a nice recovery in to the weekend.

Volatility is always extremely high with rare earths, good time to buy them was a month ago. Right now, it’s a coin toss imo. US is showing intent to invest in the sector which is a good sign, but these tickers are already run up quite a bit.

The government is promising a 12.66% annualized return on these Trump accounts for babies and people are just like “yeah that sounds totally realistic and reasonable”. Literally saying that starting at $1000, and maxing out deposits at 5k yearly, will accrue $1.1 million by the time the baby is 28. To act like that’s guaranteed return is just fucked up imo. That’s an extremely optimistic ROI.
