If we beat China to true AGI (if it even is possible with today’s tech) then I could totally see it. The logic of “it’ll save lives to do it before they get their own AGI” would totally be applied IMO. I doubt it’d be a boots on the ground scenario. True AGI would be able to compromise essentially all their digital infrastructure and protect ours. Talking about shutting off electricity, water, internet, cellular, essentially everything for a long time. The entirety of their country would just crumble, tens of millions would likely die from no clean water or way to preserve food. Political will for the war would die almost instantly, and the CCP would either surrender or be overthrown internally within like 2 months.

I finally learned how to pick options best for me this week after 1 year of trading and totally get it now (was told to steer clear as a rookie when I started and had a bad early first experience with it my first week). It varies… but most open around 4:30 am and close around 10 to 11pm. Can only enter up to 3 hours before flight unless it’s a connecting flight - then anytime before. Time it right though and can get in a great nap, pretty decent food and free drinks. Only way to travel IMO. LAX sky lounge is heavenly.
