IMO its going to take something external for a meaningful pullback in metals... tariffs being struck down, a non-stupid fed chair pick... so unless you think one of those is going to happen i would stay away from puts last time there was a meaningful downward move was greenland TACO... price recovered within hours and then went higher. most of the buying are coming from very large central banks (saudi, china etc) that don't really care what the price is. this is not like US stocks where large proportions are held by financial institutions that DO care about the price and will easily dump a bunch at once not saying its just going to rip like this forever but we are in a new regime now that has revalued metals for the purpose of sovereign reserves
