Whether it's the regime in Washington or an AI company CEO, is anyone doing anything to ensure any of the daily "deals" are being followed through on? Seems like a really easy way to make money right now by saying you made a fantastically large deal and then just not doing it, or doing a lot less of it.

It's literally the mid-2000's setup again. The inevitable credit crunch will be just as crunchy as the subprime disaster. We're watching systemic leverage & risk being built up in real time.

I had a lot of milestones for HOOD… crypto recovery in q1, ER beat, Intl expansion, s&p inclusion. I had very large positions early and slowly would down at each milestone. I am still long though. But yeah, for HOOD, I don’t have clear catalysts any more other than very long term becoming a major global financial platform. I do with NBIS though. I have a lot of Jan calls specifically for 10/30 ER. They will factor in MSFT revenue and raise guidance significantly. Also, more likely than not they announce another deal from now til then. Then there is the likely week prior run-up to earnings. I’d probably be a bit careful shorting NBIS at this moment.

The most money I’ve lost was trying to time tops and bottoms and fighting momentum. NBIS and HOOD clearly have a lot of positive momo.

When it’s like 20 bucks it’s fun I don’t really do it a lot so it just makes it kinda entertaining

A lot of them were/are. I know a girl who got $5000 stolen from her (her entire savings) because she put her money on some dumb website. But Bitcoin is still legit. There are scams built around the dollar and gold, that doesn't make either of them illegitimate.
