I guess many people understand that the market is in a bubble, but the problem is: you can make a lot of money at this stage, as long as you can get out before things get bad. And many people are confident that they can predict when that will happen, ironically they can't, which is why 90% of retailers lose money.

I had a few thousand shares of TARS that I sold a last week at $59. Freed up a lot of capital to invest. I’ve had a monster week bouncing in and out of stuff. I check today and it’s up $6-7 from my sales price. Honestly bummed because I’m a longer term bio investor. I’m quite sure I used the $$ and made more than that on other trades. But still feeling pretty salty I missed it. I probably would’ve sold at $65.

Also word of advice. A lot of seasonal warehouse positions get posted for late September and early October to get ahead of Black Friday. So weekly initial jobless claims for these weeks should be substantially lower. The same thing happened last year and in 2023 during September. These are seasonal positions generally get cut after the holidays. This is why we look at continuing claims and BLS non farm payrolls. You get a munch more clear picture

What a lot of people don’t understand about NBIS is that they offer a FULL STACK - GPUs, networking, storage, software + APIs, etc. The vision of NBIS is to be the AWS of AI and are growing/expanding at an unbelievable pace. This team is brilliant with tons of expertise. The Microsoft contract is just the beginning. CoreWeave offers a full stack as well, but they’ve taken on tons of debt while expanding. IREN does not offer a full stack and are more so an infrastructure host - power/racks/GPUs

ppl who haven't been the victim of this sort of thing have a lot of trouble imaging it and so can't take it seriously, but it's extremely common. family ties are very frequently abused these days, just like old friends coming around to sell you MLM scams, family will use you, so always keep your eyes open (sounds like you have been) and minimize the potential for their abusing (possibly psychopathic) ways to impact your life.
