Some people on here didn't understand why I opened a 50X leverage position on Rigetti today at the closing bell. If it goes great I'll make a lot of money and retire, if it goes bad I lose that 10,000$. Rigetti is going up almost 20% per day

We have a very rare situation where a merger was announced AND the shareholders still need to approve it in order for it to go through YET the stock price collapsed -65% instantly on announcement. Essentially you have a downside protected 3x because — Either the terms of the merger are improved / clarified to give shareholders good value OR the shareholders will reject the deal, instantly causing the stock to go up a lot… no matter what happens. I’m all-in for an easy 300% gain, once the market realizes this. There really is no reason to overcomplicate this. But if you want extra details: Brag House Holdings is taking House of Doge public and will trade under $TBH. This deal was announced this morning. House of Doge is the commercial entity behind Dogecoin, so there is insane memetic value potential but forget that, that’s extra upside beyond the easy 3x right in front of you. For whatever reason this merger news caused the stock to go down -65% because perhaps dilution but it doesn’t matter because you are buying here not 3x higher and shareholders (you) still need to approve the deal or not. Will shareholders accepted a deal that caused them to lose -65% instantly? Probably not. Therefore stock go up big.

My theory is I think it's playing catch up to some extent. During Covid it barely went up even though inflation was very high. But yea, a lot of people believed they would only cut if there's crisis.
