Meta still going down after hours. Have any analysts changed their price targets or said anything? I'm not sure what to do im at a massive loss right now. I'm not sure if I should sell it all and claim capital loss carryover on my taxes for the rest of my life. My break even is near 700 and it seems that it may never reach that again. People choose to use their products. The lawsuits make no sense.

2025 and 2024 gains wiped. borrowing 40% of the 100% I can borrow from margin so could get called if my 3 stocks AMZN, META, and MSFT lose another 30% which i dont think msft will get to 250, and meta to 360 but under this dumbass nothing is out of the picture, worst case i will have to sell all my 401k and pay the 10% and the income tax and move it to my borkerage

I agree. People saying correction and that's fine, but tech especially started to go down way earlier than SPY (while the rotation into energy, defensive and consumer was happening). Let's say SPY goes down another 5%, then what happens to MSFT META for example? Do they go down 10-20% into a 50% drawdown from ATH? like wtf

Yeah I got a limit buy for MSFT @ $345 too, and META @ $500. Hardest part of this market is figuring out what your risk tolerance is for missing the recovery.

If $META loses the court case then $AMD, $NBIS and $NVDA are also fucked since they will lose a large chunk of revenue from metas algorithmic ads. Honestly it’s bad for the economy overall. Just ban the kids and keep everything the same

Probably wise, I was all in on oil and figured it was a good time to rotate out. Picked up goog, nvidia, msft, meta, and a little hood. Will DCA if they keep dipping but none of those are going bankrupt. Might be a stressful month but probly made a good call if I look a year or two ahead
