How Microsft could win the AI race

MSFT is down 11.87% over the last month, but they just crushed earnings so why? As of most things in the market over the last 18 months, it's AI. They aren't hyperscaling as bad as nvidia or meta or any of the other MAG7 stocks. Over the last year it only has risen three percent, way under the market. But what there plan with AI is will lead to them rising to the top. first of all you can't make a long term bet against them, to bet against Microsoft is to bet against office software and basic OS. Microsoft has been one of the biggest companies globially for two decades for this reason. And their plans with Copilot is how they are going to win. Copilot is going to be the only fully integrated AI in Office 365 that will make "busy work" near extinct. What Anthropic is trying to do with Claude cowork is what copilot will be. But copilot will already be intergrated into office 365. But in the end it is still MSFT, you didn't need to know that there going to beat the market in the next 5 years or be Microsoft. But Copilot is also integrated to XBOX, this is there hidden goldmine that i don't think most people even know. AI intergrated gaming software can replace google and other engines for searches amd replace youtube for guides. Hw would you look away from the game when you can speak your issues into your game and see a fix. This is what will bring them out of the bottom tier of AI stocks. When it gets out of beta (which it currently is in) and it starts producing, i see sony and/or nintendo wanting to integrate an ai into their gaming an who will already have the software? Microsoft will and that is how they will win AI, from the background. Not loud, not zillion dollar infrastructure but software integration. This is just how i see it, im a coward with maybe fifteen dollars in stock lifetime, im not licensed but i hope you all can see what i see.

It’s like you guys forgot we actually went above 700 this week, if only for a few hours. Apple and meta had blowout earnings, and so did the downstream AI companies. The only speculative big tech left is GOOG and AMZN, both of which have earnings this week. I fully expect SPY 720 by Wednesday close, and if GOOG smashes it, it has a very real chance of being the highest valued company on the market. If you think they’re gonna sit this one out because of some dogshit crypto, dollar value, or Iran, you’re wildly mistaken.

In the world of short form content betting on meta or Google is dumb. Google's shooting itself in the foot displaying AI overviews on the SERPs itself and I don't buy anything META said about AI tailoring ads to better suit their audience when bots are taking over the platforms. TikTok is the only app I don't mind the ad delivery but even their feed is becoming slop. I can only imagine what metas looks like.

Reddit (RDDT) stock has recently been experiencing volatility following a dip from a recent high, driven by analyst concerns over 2026 ad growth and competition. Despite this, bullish sentiment remains, with some analysts setting price targets up to $320 based on strong user growth and AI integrations. *β€œdriven by analyst concerns over 2026 ad growth and competition”* What like TikTok? The app everyone is now leaving for a lot of different reasons? Or do you mean Snap? The app that’s been dead for the last several years? I’ll go ahead and leave Meta alone because I don’t think I even need to bother with that one. Gold and Silver sold off today with the dollar rising as there seems to be some optimism for the new Fed Chair, Walsh (who knows, I’m not taking a stance on that one.) The point here is there seems to be optimism for 2026, how do you take a stance on declining ad growth? However, between Reddit ads, its current presence among search queries, AI, targeted interests among users, the company seems to be focusing more and more on AI data licensing and improved search UI. Yea, there’s also a new verified profile feature which I guess can be great in the long run. I guess it seems like this sell off is way overblown. There is also a lot of negative sentiment across Reddit about Reddit stock (I know that Reddit sentiment should be an index, lol.) Reddit is scheduled to report earnings on February 5, 2026. This is an honest question because perhaps I’ve just missed something a bit more alarming? **P.S.** To those who are about to shout β€œit’s nothing but bots!” - yea there’s bots in all of them, however you’d be surprised how many are *not* bots. This gives me the same vibes of β€œthat must be AI!” when it actually isn’t, haha. Everyone I talk to goes to Reddit to find answers anymore. I’ve witnessed people scrolling to the Reddit answer for their question on platforms like Google. Then, it’s funny to see their questions get answered and then take interest in an ad they catch while doing so[.](https://investor.redditinc.com/overview/default.aspx)

It's actually wild how many people still have the memories of goldfish. META had an insanely irrational drop and kept plunging in spite of everyone knowing it was irrational. It finally went up, then everyone panicked because it dropped back. You know how many people kept complaining about those price drops as late as like a week ago and probably kept panic selling it even knowing it'd be back by next quarter? MSFT will be the same thing all over again, and it isn't even likely to drop as hard as META. Literally ignore if it's red for oh no not a whole 2-3 months. Just keep DCAing it.
