They are spending billions and billions to build data centers, more processing power, (expecting) more power consumption, which is fueling the economic activities. The big thing about these large capex investments is that they are expected to make an even greater return in either proprietary tech, or revenue. If meta uses 30B to invest in data centers and it's another metaverse? That +30B becomes -30B to company valuation. So the "bubble" is that as these investments reach higher and higher peaks, the expected return increases exponentially, and when it doesn't (for some likely not all), they go off to die like META did in 2021-2022.

Netflix dipped for a very similar reason which caused a massive drop. But instead of immediately rebounding it slowly bled over several weeks. I'd still buy the META dip but I'd wait and see when it starts actually recovering.

The market makers did not like that Zuck went into how big of an investment Meta was going to put into AI infrastructure next year and it freaked out everyone so they started rebalancing investments out of tech.

The further out your dte is, the higher premiums you'll pay but the safer you'll be. If you aren't waiting them out then strike doesn't matter a whole lot, but if so, something realistic. I'm personally holding some 11/21 $800 calls but don't really expect Meta to moon like that.
