This is why intraday movement has gotten worse and worse with every year

MMs and algos are so smart…. they sell us options, and then force contract price down - to make you sell .. then they but it back cheaper …. and then they push the underlying stock price to the contract strike … and exercise the contracts for profit. :(

Whelp I made a decent sized bet on SPY calls before close yesterday… I just have a feeling MMs are going to fuck over everyone that piled into puts yesterday. It closed at what like 676? So puts with break evens around 675 would have been *expensive* The AH movements have been painting a picture for several weeks now with SPY - they sell OTM puts close to the price EOD, then pump it after hours so at market open those puts that were just barely OTM at 3:00 the day before are now deep OTM and take a massive 80% hit immediately at market open. Yes, I’m sweating.
