For anyone confused why its bad now. 1. 41 day all time record shutdown. Dems caved to agree to reopen with what was offered on day 1. So for nothing. 2. No jobs report for October as a result of gov length of shutdown so Fed can't cut rates in December. That rate cut was priced in. Now it might not happen in December. Valuations go down. 3. Add those 2 up, and there's no certainty so MMs can't invest with confidence until there is data on jobs, etc.
