I absolutely broke my plan of having insurance puts and sold, switched them to MSFT calls. When futures were down 1% I thought I made a huge mistake. The market is a machine whose only purpose is to shake you out.

Realistically, would it even be possible for MSFT, AMZN, etc to go back to their April lows of 360 and 160 respectively? Nothing has really changed, and CAPEX expenditure is through the roof. OPENAI funding round next week will be a YUUUGE upside catalyst for MSFT, NVDA, ORCL which are all oversold. When OPENAI grabs that 800B valuation that will be a huge paper gain for any companies that own a stake. And will also allow openAI to pay the bills for another year or two to get us into the IPO.

If you think about it, it’s kinda bullish that the barrier to entry for making your own AI is so expensive. Startups and smaller companies have no chance ever catching GOOG, MSFT, META and anthropic.
