Because traditional fundamentals do not apply in speculative growth. These stocks are dominated by future potential, and that is based on multiple subjective and objective factors. Primarily sentiment and retard analysts. TSLA or PLTR are fantastic examples, just in different stages. Also, private companies have limited requirements for publication or regulation. It's never apples to apples. Possible significant pullback, sure, improbable, definitely with a strong macro.
