Someone entered into a \~1b short pre trump news on Friday (\~30min before). It was likely on perps. They're insanely liquid. There is \~10mil usd within \~10bps of the best bid you can short on binance futures alone. If you distribute your liquidity / DCA in you can probably enter into a \~50-100m short and only move the futures markets by < 10bps. Some smart players / actors move markets by less than \~20bps and can enter into billion+ dollar positions. It's on average much more liquid than the ETF's being traded (you're trading directly on the crypto venues, rather than thru a 3rd party) \--- I do all my most of my crypto trading on futures. You gotta open up accounts on the venues - I have accounts on more or less every major one.
