Gold and Silver sold off today with the dollar rising as there seems to be some optimism for the new Fed Chair, Walsh (who knows, I’m not taking a stance on that one.) The point here is there seems to be optimism for 2026, how do you take a stance on declining ad growth? However, between Reddit ads, its current presence among search queries, AI, targeted interests among users, the company seems to be focusing more and more on AI data licensing and improved search UI. Yea, there’s also a new verified profile feature which I guess can be great in the long run. I guess it seems like this sell off is way overblown. There is also a lot of negative sentiment across Reddit about Reddit stock (I know that Reddit sentiment should be an index, lol.) Reddit is scheduled to report earnings on February 5, 2026. This is an honest question because perhaps I’ve just missed something a bit more alarming? **P.S.** To those who are about to shout “it’s nothing but bots!” - yea there’s bots in all of them, however you’d be surprised how many are *not* bots.
