Lol no I very much understand Starlink and this market. You seem to miss the fact that AST will only have access to 5 maybe 10 MHz of MNO spectrum with the sats that are being deployed through 2026. This means they can do 20 Mbps per cell and that's after deploying all of the sats vs Starlink who has demonstrated 17 Mbps and has a service available today. AST likes to talk about 120 Mbps or faster speeds but this requires L band spectrum and they haven't built satellites with that capability yet. Just look at what AT&T themselves say, note it says AST will support text calls and data. It then says it *may* one day support video! This is the same as Starlink.
