Internet outages show that if you buy SLV or GLD you are stupid and you won’t own shit on failure to deliver. Robinhood had issues while silver and gold transacted just fine. I wouldn’t fomo invest in silver but own the metal not the paper please for your sake.

Closed my two SLV CSPs this morning before it dumped downwards. Collected 68.93 there. Waiting to see where it consolidates, but I am now only handling one CSP at a time now (I have 3 leap puts ready) GLD seems to be holding steady for now.

I may buy another leap put on SLV, and roll more silver CSPs. I sold my calls on Friday to lock in profits, and am watching to see if it retests the 15-day SMA instead. I am long-term bullish but see a potential for short-term correction. I set a stop-loss on my GLD leap for 5% upside worst-case, but am otherwise good to let it ride up. My IAU call is still up 39% so...not to worried there. I'm thinking to deploy some cash to CSP KO as its earning date is Tuesday. Otherwise, I'm sitting on 2.3k in realized profits, and am considering where to park cash. Franklin Templeton (BEN) is one I'm considering for dividends.

GLD and SLV puts. SLV finally reached the high it set at the peak of the 2011 metals bubble. It took it 14 years to get this high again.

GLD is still effectively up 3.3% this week, so this feels more like profit-taking rather than a full reversal. Though if it drops more, I'll aim to sell and lock profits in. I sold my SLV calls on Friday on the other hand, for about 20-30% realized profits on each (bid ask differentials are their own brand of fun). I have two OTM csps for Monday, but if slv drills, then I also have three leap puts for protection.
