For the people buying calls because a taco is “priced in”, do you know what priced in even means? Why would the market not sell the news if it was pricing it in today? And if he doesn’t taco that’s also not bullish at all…

From the looks of it the market is pricing TACO Tuesday in, they could not be so stupid and destroy Kharg or Irans oil export capabilities, because if they did and Iran would have no more ships of it own that must travers the strait, everyone should see that they would mine the shit out of that fucker or pretend they did. I was buying calls on the TACO trade, but I noticed he moved the deadline again from 8pm to midnight Tuesday, so tomorrow will probably be like today. Then after market close he'll announce we're almost sort of pretty much ending the war, maybe.

Why market is up or flat - Its because its pricing in a taco. They don’t want to be selling now and buying up later when he tacos. So they are hedged to tits in case it doesn’t go the way they think. I read its like $80 billion of puts vs 20 billion calls. Thats why its very low volume and moves significantly up when there is any news of ceasefire. The bearish scenario is so nightmarish that they think he will taco eventually. It will be a lose-lose situation for both Iran and US. Even if US leaves without opening the strait, it will be fine for the market as each country is already making their own deals with Iran. I am holding puts which are 50% down because I think both of the players are total regards. Iran is not gonna back down because they think rest of the world will pressure US to leave and US won’t back down because they will lose all influence in middle east and probably whole world.
