I went 75% cash yesterday. Recent gains were insane, and couldn’t stomach watching so much profit given back over the trailing 5 sessions. Sold off tech and AI. Cost basis on RGTI was $3.50. Similar margins on SOUN and JOBY. Humbly, feels like the top is in and near-term risk has never been higher. Add in the recent meme fiasco, and it seems we are primed for a sizable pullback. A bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese cost me $21 the other day. That is both ridiculous and not sustainable for Main Street. Scalping puts from here on out.

If relations with China get worse, guess it will be a toss up between maintaining our way of life and consumerist economy with relatively cheap tech goods or protecting some areas of the environment. A lot of environmentalism (in the US at least) is just used as a way to block competitors (unfortunately), so something tells me whichever has the bigger dollar value is going to end up winning out.

My medium term plays are $TOST and $UPST. Both having a good day and week here. By end of the earnings season I expect significant break outs. Strong signal IMO is seeing green on days where the overall market and tech is red, signaling some belief of real business growth and reallocation towards value plays on days where big names are liquidated.
