There difference is TSLA actually had revenue and hard assets. PLTR is a pure software company with little intrinsic value and a product whose sales can't be ramped up easily.

Tsla puts are hilariously expensive at any duration.  But selling calls in any quantity is basically impossible because of broker/margin restrictions. I wonder if this is part of the reason it will not die. He's managed to engineer a situation in which shorting on leverage is practically impossible.
