After staring at charts for hours with lots of ups and downs, I’m proud to say I’m up $8 on the week. Time to go out and spend several hundred dollars to celebrate.

I have a long time friend who knows a few higher ups in Vegas it’s all tied together. According to him the NBA has been at it the longest by far with the NFL trailing.

Sold my QQQ calls, hoping for a mild drop so I could buy back in and double dip. Doesn't seem to be happening lol. Gap ups like this usually experience follow thru the next trading day or two. So I'll probably buy back in regardless

It’s gapped down repeatedly for 7 days at open. Then has gapped up at open today. So I’m guessing 6 more gap ups tomorrow and all of next week. 📈

Trading into year end I am thinking a couple things. We have a decent Long entry point from last week on the indexes and even better on some single stocks. If this credit event was a dud, and contained within the 2 or 3 blow ups that just happened, and nothing else comes up, its clear skies for a multitude of reasons.  1. Earnings, the intrinsic value of public equity. They are going up, they will keep going up.  2. AI, the capex spend is the welds holding the ship of the economy and market together and afloat. Its running wild and no signs of slowing down, if anything its still speeding up. And its flooding the whole economy with jobs and income as a result.  3. The market mechanics of Volatility and derivatives hedging unwinding is how you get those insane +2 or +3% days in the indexes. Seeing as we were within reach of a 30 vix, and its likely to fall back below 20 and maybe 15 in the coming weeks as event risk passes, Fomc, Earnings, etc. We will likely see a decent bid from this.  4. TACO. Gyna and Russia will come to terms with the U.S in a matter of time. Even if the end result is worse than before the orangutan started anything. But the market Will gobble it up and its another bullish catalyst.

I swear to god, these apps are putting pop-ups right where I'm about to touch. Or maybe even after I touch.

we have yet to see some actual selling on SPY, we had a big drop last Friday but since then have just been trading above it with the help of some gap ups and pre-market pumps. Want to say that it would be pretty crazy to not see SPY break below that low or at least retest once, but given what we've seen from this market the last 3 years that would actually be pretty on brand

WULF, IREN, NBIS, have been some of the most fun to trade stocks the last few weeks. Strong support on dips with fast rebounds.  UPS, DOCU, TGT, UBER, MCHP, are always reliable, too, and FedEx is a good entry here.

Profit taking from unsustainable build ups

I used to be good at trading then a box hit me in the head at UPS Like for real i got a bump and everything.

USAR, MP (Rare earth stocks) have both seen pretty insane run ups, is this a short term hold or will it be able to sustain these levels with the emerging Rare earth domestic demand?

Typically don’t but will occasionally enter a limit sell order. Personally, I use longer 2-3 month timelines for options and will ride put ups and downs based on thesis. Shorter durations, I find it better to actively monitor and exit quickly.

Can anyone give me a realistic reason why we would have anymore gap ups for the rest of the week? I feel like that was the TACO today and we'll stair up from here

🐻 is the dumbest creature on the planet. You zoom out all time on the market and it only goes up, you zoom in a little and see some red dips. 🐻 hopes to strike it rich timing those dips instead of just investing in the guaranteed ups long term. This is why they are going extinct.

RZLV seems undervalued at the moment especially after surging revenue and ups guidance. I think it has plenty of room for substantial upside from current levels

Ive been break even since April with a touch to ATH in August and a lot of ups and downs in between. Currently crawling out of a 30% drawdown from yoloing a little too hard on some futures 0dtes. Meanwhile the retirement account keeps climbing doing 50% a year for 3 years straight.
