You can’t simply look at the PE value in isolation to gauge whether a stock is expensive, and ignore the quality of those earnings. Growth and stability are 2 important determinants. While Apple is not really growing, the last decade has proved iPhones are not a fad, rather a consumer staple that will last long into the future. Therefore, its valuation multiple should rerate accordingly. Bear in mind Coca-Cola and Costco trades at >40 PE today.

Starting in January, the average monthly check for the nation’s 53 million retired recipients will be $2,064, up $56 from this year, the Social Security Administration said Friday. The cost-of-living adjustment, or COLA, follows this year’s 2.5% increase, which was the smallest in four years.

Went out to a nice dinner with my coworkers tn on the company, ordered the halibut. Talked about stonks, had most at the table saying they just buy index funds, a couple degens trading options and crypto, and one guy who said he just buys stuff with high dividends like Coca Cola and Campbell’s and does DRIP lmao.

ICoca-Cola (KO) stock is not a reliable recession indicator; in fact, it is widely considered a recession-resistant or "defensive" stock. Its products, like beverages, are considered consumer staples, meaning demand for them tends to remain relatively stable even when the economy slows.  There you go regards 😂😂😂😂

Yes, they’re (BLS) making an exception (or trying to) for September’s CPI, it’s being pushed to October 24 so the Social Security Administration (SSA) can compute the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA). So maybe some data?
