your first mistake was to stay with the same company for so long. Lack of job hop every 2-4 years atrophy your interview skill and distance you from the market info on what's in demand skill. You lost opportunity cost of salary bump from switch job. You lose skill learning opportunity from working in different company. So unless you have great stock comp or promote to high management position, you're risking a lot of eggs in one basket without upside reward to make up for it.
