Yep I've got 14 junior developers working for me now all named claude. My bottle neck now is that i have to baby sit them all the time because they make stupid decisions, but this will get better in time with better context engineering. Front end devs are dead. They better pivot. Im making crazy front end shit.

OMG yes. Or worse yet you are edgy and have no visible map, forcing me to pull up the menu every 5 seconds to figure out where I am. Fuk u too!!!! I only play older games because of junk like this. Modern devs killed gaming

All the flavors of the month games on Steam making tens of millions are all using AI extensively, lol. No way these indie devs are all making them this fast with how many people they have working.

Okay okay okay. I need DNUT to go up, I am over invested, by a lot. Can devs do something?

Always remember CIA has had their devs in AWS for 10 years. Coincidentally we get northern VA servers killed. I genuinely wonder what they did to blow it all up.

AWS took down the whole internet, then now that they fixed it, Reddit still fukt Reflects badly on both companies, AMZN is notoriously bad at retaining talent with a laughably short average tenure, and RDDT of course doesn't invest nearly enough in hiring devs

Reddit devs needed to look productive for there bosses so they removed being able to see how many people are in a sub and replaced it with how many users interacted with it in the last month

$TEAM near 52-week low. Software for application development and project management. They raising prices. If the Fed keeps cutting, you'd expect software multiples to expand. If all this AI investment actually happens - they will need to track the projects to execute and devs/IT run on ATLASSIAN. Its stupid cheap here.

Both of my buddies entered the IT field 10 years ago as entry level devs and were getting paid the big bucks from the getgo. One friend knew this was too good to be true there's no way the market could support paying programmers doctor or lawyer level salaries so in his spare time he diversified his skills into real estate, airbnb, etc. Other friend thought the party is just getting started and will never end so other than learning couple new programming languages didn't bother to go beyond tech for his resume. Both friends just got laid off month ago with one friend doing very well going 100% in real estate while the other friend is going through hundreds of interviews competing against millions of other recently laid off programmers.
