This would be a good day for MMs to do a slow rug pull. Everyone's expecting rate cut, everyone's expecting market to jump when it happens (even though sell the news), a slow drag into the decision allows MMs to either just get it to go back up / settle at where it opened or then do massive sell-off and screw everyone who's long.

They went hogwild with QE, turned the money printers on (and proceeded to forget about them), and left interest rates *way* too low for *way* too fucking long. Then, as the real economy started to drag, rank-and-file Americans started to hurt, and gigantic chunks of the real estate market started to crumble, they went way too hawkish with slow-to-arrive wait cuts and mealy-mouthed forecasts. I'm not impressed.
