Are you me? Sold my mint Alpha/Beta power 9 (MTG) for 20k way back when for a downpayment on a house that's barely worth more today than it was back then. Those same cards today would be worth well over 5 million (Think multiple mint Lotuses, etc.) Watched live on my PC Bitcoin drop to 1 dollar on MtGox. Was about to hit the buy button for 1000 bitcoin just for the lulz but thought, "nah, nobody is going to remember this shit a few weeks from now so what's the point. Gold in WoW is worth more because at least you can enjoy it by buying items in a game people like. Just a couple of minor decisions in my life could have entirely changed my financial outcome. And it's not just, "well everyone could have bought Bitcoin at $1". No, most people didn't even know it existed. I knew it existed, i knew what it was all about and had my finger on the trigger to buy it. Back then, almost nobody was in that situation. Bleh!
