The markets are pricing in future lowered demand for AI buildouts but the buildouts will continue nonetheless and will probably net increase YoY. Arms race is only getting started. Lmao I just looked at Teslas last few quarter financials and can’t for the life of me understand this valuation and desire to hold this stock. Tax brackets dont apply retroactively to lower income brackets, you only pay the higher rate on what you went over.  Also capital gains is different than income tax.  Just hold 20% of your short term net and you'll be fine.

If it increases from net jobs still being added or relatively flat but labor force expansion, that's healthy and totally fine. Now it is entirely possible for jobs to be created AND unemployment rate rise as more people look for jobs. That is what most of the increase has been. If it's rising from huge job losses and rising initial claims persistently, that would be negative.
