Erased all my gains. I bought a NVIDIA option after earnings for 800 because obviously there was gonna be a major buy back. I was wrong, and started panicking so I spent 7K to average my option price down so the loss wouldn’t be as much but I ended up almost losing a quarter of my net worth. Realized 5K of losses, which could’ve been a nice watch. Never touching options again

It already is and has been a threat to our society. There is no social safety net that will save people and being employed will not help you. The only reason I’m employed right now is because I’m busy automating other people‘s jobs. An entire department at work of regular workers are helping to automate their own jobs and they don’t even know it. It makes me sick to go into work every day.

European and Asian markets are down 5%-7% since the war. US markets barely down at all. Part of it might be because US is a net exporter of crude and part of it might be due to the AI bull run. But that might soon come crashing down because South Korea and Taiwan are having natural gas shortages now which are needed to make chemicals and other inputs in chips. Honestly, I just feel like it is being artificially propped up given the fall in literally every other major market.

If you're an island nation with no domestic oil industry why the hell would you give up your safety net for someone else's war who doesn't listen to you at all? What if you release your oil and your neighbors break the agreement? You could get extremely fucked. You'd have no supplies to ration in a real shortage scenario.

Iran specifically mentioned a target of 200 to inflicted maximum pain. My guess is if we go back above 120 various countries open strategic reserves to cool the price back down to where it is now, but we only have a few weeks worth of reserves, so if things go on longer than that then the sky is the limit honestly, which will be awful for the entire world. Good news is US is a net exporter of oil, so we aren't in danger of *running out*. Bad news is even if we don't run out that won't stop everything from becoming so expensive no one but the top of the top can afford to live. Especially because it's not just oil we have to worry about with the strait closed. (Looking at you, fertilizer for our food)

People have been trained to "look through" every recent bad event because they were all essentially reversible. In actual fact, most were reversed, with the net effect being that they were "negotiating positions". This war isn't domestic politics or tariffs where you can flip tomorrow. The US has no good options in this war, Tehran won't stop when it has the upper hand, and US withdrawal isn't going to happen either. Bombing Tehran's oil depots or taking Kharg Island may be forms of negotiation, but they have real, irreversible, and immediate economic consequences. Securing the Persian Gulf is currently impossible, not unless the US wants to risk losing a ship or two. Ground invasion is impossible without at least 1 million troops. So at least for the forseeable future, Iran has the upper hand on the oil situation. The strategy will be to induce pain for the US economically until it makes concessions, none of which the US will be prepared to make 1 week into a war it decided to launch.

Loaded to the gills in PATH shares and call leaps. Not sure if this earnings matters with whats going on but it will hopefully provide more clarity on their switch to agentic from rpa. Cash cow with high margins and no debt. I remember calling out PLTR on this sub at 18$ and got mocked for it. They had good growth, margins, and low debt, and just turned net income positive. Same setup today for PATH. We will see if im right on this one as well.

SYSTERIX - $69k gain from SPX credit spreads (Mar 6, 2026)

$69k gain this week from SPX credit spreads this Friday (Mar 6). My positions were the following (all expiring Mar 6): * 6600p / 6500p PCS @ 8.57 net credit for 30 contracts = $25,723 profit * 6610p / 6510p PCS @ 9.27 net credit for 5 contracts = $4,637 profit * 6650p / 6550p PCS @ 9.74 net credit for 40 contracts = $38,947 profit * **TOTAL = $69,307 net profit** I traded 75 contracts at 100-wide so basically I risked $750k in principal to make $69k in profits this week. Please someone tell me I'm regarded / crazy / picking up pennies in front of a steamroller / I'm gonna lose it all - am waiting for that fat red week that will blow up my account inevitably LOL. The Iran bombings have shot the VIX up TO THE MOON which is literally the equivalent of a buffet for thetagang traders like myself. 6600 is the KEY SPX support level at the moment. I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK Note I trade credit spreads on a weekly basis so follow me and look out for my next gains (or losses!) post every Friday - GO BIG OR GO HOME Till next week, Systerix For reference, gains from last week (Feb 27, 2026) : [https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/1ri8s01/systerix\_48k\_gain\_from\_credit\_spreads\_feb\_27\_2026/](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/1ri8s01/systerix_48k_gain_from_credit_spreads_feb_27_2026/)
