I sold 10 QQQ long puts I bought at close **yesturday** for a 600 dollar loss at open. AMA

My moves tomorrow is to pray QQQ stops dropping.

30 qqq puts started the day at 1.3 n all sold for 6.25... that's a lot of steakhouse dinners

This market is truely unwell. There should never be a time where Im holding a QQQ ITM option and it just doesnt move or moves 1 cent a minute. Like this thing should be bouncing around up and down 10 cents a second especially at times like this. The vix manipulation is all they have left, and even that doesnt work now.

I wouldn't fullport but it's a great US defensive sector hedge going into next year's uncertainty. It is USD only so if the dollar weakens further you will miss out on international gains. I would keep some spy/qqq (in case growth stocks still do fine), add a bit of gold and some international etf (both to hedge against dollar depreciation, could even add broader commodities). Then bonds but they still look terrible or just keep some cash in high yield savings account. This will probably underperform spy if next year turns out fine.
