I think I’ve switched from permabull to temporary Nancy Bear. I thought QQQ 640 after tech earnings in a few weeks but we may visit 600 first. with tariff uncertainty, Iran, and yen. I think puts for a week or two then March calls.

Holy fuck those god damn Melvins over at the bogleheads sub got me banned for 3 days I bet $25 on QQQ 616c at the bottom during what’s his name’s speech at Davis that pissed off that French guy, and it turned into $620. Why did I fucking only open a $25 position. Why? Fuckin hell. Also INTC was obvious as fuck guys. They’re a shit company, and it’s not because of any single exec, it’s because they’re literally fuckin inept compared to their peers. They always shit the bed on earnings if there’s *any* hype because the second they’re not talking about some abstract turnaround narrative backed by government funding, it becomes clear they’re a bunch of slack jawed drooling morons that probably spent more time gooning to femboy porn and playing modded Skyrim than actually studying engineering in college

That is an awfully complicated answer, so I'll say only this: Once you have researched and believe a company can achieve X, buy in only AFTER you have already determined your risk tolerance. If you buy today, and it drops 7% by tomorrow afternoon, are you going to panic and sell at a loss, or did you really believe in teh stock and you're willing to hold? what about if the next day it drops another 5%? You have to know what you can afford to lose, and if the answer is "I can't." then you need to QQQ and chill, or SPY and chill or something. Stay away from individual stocks. Trailing stops are your friend. I mean, there is literally a way to buy into something, set it and forget it and just profit until it turns. It's mind boggling to me how many people are not willing to get stopped out and just ride shit down forever. like, wtf? Bro, if you're up 70% on a stock, set a stop at 10% and if that bitch turns just move on with your life with your 60% profit. Pay your taxes and chilllllll. Investing is part research, part luck and 90% learning to control your emotions. I held PENMF for 6 years. Became profitable only on January 21, 2026. I now hold 40K shares of a penny stock that will not remain a penny stock forever. diamond handed that motherfucker, but for 6 years that capital was dead as a doornail. I'm ranting again. TLDR: Trailing stops and momentum plays is the answer. there is no 'rule'. Sometimes I bail. Sometimes that is a bad decision. Sometimes I regret it. But I made much more than I lost.

QQQ to 612 is possible, but I took SPX 6800 instead. I know that’s pretty far OTM. My entry was 1.50. It’s 3.00 ah, which I know doesn’t mean shit, but at least it’s not red. Pay attention to Yen, and Japanese markets into Monday, if you can afford it, a SPY put yolo a couple points out won’t hurt too much.
